The Student Clinic at the CEO Halifax focuses on teaching students how to conduct a consultation according to the specificity of osteopathy. The pedagogical goal of this training is to familiarize the students with the consultation protocol, and to provide appropriate treatment for each individual based on their needs.
The clinical training portion of the program focuses on teaching students how to conduct a professional consultation from an osteopathic manual perspective. Osteopathic manual practices benefit people of all ages, from infants to the elderly.
Everyone can benefit from Osteopathy as taught by the CEO Halifax. It can be applied to alleviate pathologies and mechanical imbalances, and it can be used to remove restrictions in tissue, allowing a patient to become more mobile, healthier, and able to handle the stresses of everyday life.
If you are under medical treatment, have with you the details of this treatment, the list of your medications or any other relevant document (analysis results, x-rays, scan, etc.) as well as the details of your doctor.
It is also recommended to bring loose fitting clothing, such as shorts and a t-shirt to your appointment.
