We
wish
you
a
warm
welcome
and
invite
you
to
discover
more
about
the
College,
our
mission,
our
history,
and
our
programs
over
the
course
of
your
visit.
This
visit
will
also
allow
you
to
learn
more
on
the
history
of
osteopathy,
the
osteopathic
profession,
employment
outlooks
and
all
of
the
services
we
offer
to
our
students
and
the
population.
Founded
in
1981,
the
Collège
d’Études
Ostéopathiques
was
the
first
establishment
to
offer
an
education
in
traditional
osteopathy
in
Quebec
and
Canada.
Throughout
the
years,
we
have
earned
an
excellent
reputation
by
developing
programs
that
meet
the
highest
academic
standards
set
by
the
World
Health
Organization.
These
programs
are
aimed
at
healthcare
professionals
as
well
as
people
starting
their
healthcare
studies
in
the
field
of
osteopathy.
Our
programs
and
our
graduates
are
recognized
by
the
largest
osteopathic
association
in
Quebec:
Ostéopathie
Québec.
Dr.
Andrew
Taylor
Still,
the
founder
of
traditional
osteopathy,
compared
the
work
of
an
osteopath
with
that
of
an
engineer
of
the
organism.
In
fact,
an
osteopath
knows
anatomy
and
the
mechanisms
of
physiology
perfectly
and
in
great
detail.
He
or
she
is
able
to
detect
a
dysfunctional
zone
using
palpation
and
restore
its
health.
He
or
she
knows
how
to
evaluate
and
treat
the
causes
of
pain
and
dysfunction
and
treats
the
patient
as
a
whole.
To
achieve
this,
our
programs
allow
students
to
acquire
all
of
the
knowledge,
skills
and
know-how
necessary
for
a
professional
practice
that
is
effective
and
safe
for
the
public.
The
College
also
has
a
glowing
reputation
at
the
international
level.
Our
expertise
allows
our
teachers
to
give
advanced
courses
in
several
countries
in
Europe,
North
America,
South
America
and
in
Asia.
We
are
regularly
invited
and
are
proud
to
collaborate
on
the
improvement
of
educational
programs
on
these
continents.
Life
at
the
College
is
dynamic.
Students,
teachers
and
members
of
the
administration
work
together
to
constantly
improve
the
quality
of
courses
and
life
at
the
College.
Our
priority
being
our
students,
we
have
put
a
lot
of
energy
into
creating
an
excellent
study
environment.
The
CEO
offers
a
campus
located
in
the
heart
of
Montreal
on
Beaumont
Avenue
with
large
and
well-maintained
classroom.
Our
external
clinic
allows
students
to
acquire
the
best
practical
skills
possible
and
progress
under
the
supervision
of
experienced
osteopaths
who
will
guide
them
throughout
their
learning
process.
Since
the
founding
of
our
College,
we
have
acquired
a
lot
of
experience
and
our
goal
is
to
promote
traditional
osteopathy
by
training
competent
professionals.
The
programs
that
we
have
established,
the
quality
of
our
teachers
and
the
reputation
of
our
Colleges
clearly
demonstrate
the
importance
of
choosing
the
right
school
for
your
education.
We
thank
you
for
your
interest
in
traditional
osteopathy
and
our
College.
We
wish
you
an
excellent
visit
to
our
website
and
we
hope
to
count
you
among
our
students
and
future
osteopaths.
Please
don’t
hesitate
to
contact
us
for
more
information.
